The trip begins in Portland, it will be an early start so that we can go kayaking in Penobscot Bay. We'll arrive in the strikingly beautiful Mid-Coast region of Maine and have lunch. Afterwards you will meet our sea kayaking guide who will offer instruction, and then lead a paddle out to an undeveloped, public-use island for the evening.

The coast of Maine is truly something to see. If you have never seen the coast up here you are in for quite a surprise. If you have, you will be thrilled to be back. While you are touring the beautiful waters your trip leader will be tending a comfortable fire and preparing a delicious meal. The campsite is just a short distance from the beach, and you will contentedly sleep to the soothing sounds of the bay.

Wake-up, enjoy a great morning view with breakfast.  Afterwards we will paddle back to the mainland and civilization. After lunch, we will drive to the next stop on your Multisport tour, the North Maine Woods. Our evening's campsite is on a lake, swim and relax for the remainder of the day.

In the morning it will be a short drive to our starting point for the day's activity, whitewater rafting on the West Branch of the Penobscot. You will be in for quite an adrenaline rush as a seasoned whitewater guide steers you through the wild rapids. If this does not get your adrenaline pumping nothing will.

From Maine's premier coast to Maine's premier rafting river, it has been an adventure filled with memories.

Time to travel back to our Windham base and this trips conclusion.
